The Group Oficcina Multimédia belongs to “Fundação de Educação Artística” since 1977, when the Argentinean composer Rufo Herrera created the Group in the Integrated Art Course in the IX UFMG Winter Festival. Until 1981 the Group was under direction of Rufo Herrera and presented many spectacles. Since then, it has been working at the development of various techniques, necessary to create multimeios spectacle.

After 1983, under the direction of Ione de Medeiros, the Group’s been doing a permanent work with the body, voice, corporal rhythmic and scenical material’s research, while the spectacles are been prepeared. The Group Oficcina Multimédia has been participating in cultural National and International events and festivals, with different kinds of work
As an extra work the Group created the Corporal Rhythmic Course, which prepares people who are interested in the Group purpose.
